What is software? is a collection of computer programs and related data that provide the instructions telling a computer what to do and how to do it In this chapter, Mainly consider application software installing.( Languages & packages)

Considering factors when installing a software Compatibility of software with OS /version License key (internet required to online update or register) Prerequisite component installed (Microsoft.NET frame work, java virtual machine) Hardware requirements ◦ RAM size ◦ Processor speed ◦ Hard disk space (remaining volume)
