Robots get closer to humans Review Process 121 reviews were missing after the deadline 138 Conflict papers needed a third review Definition „Conflict“ Paper: Paper has two reviews with recommendations differing more than 2 fields (102 papers) Mean values (over all fields) of both reviews differ more than 5 points (17 papers) „Relation“ of both reviewers is „low“-“very low“ or worse (19 papers)

Robots get closer to humans What was „good“ PC members turned in reviews of good quality in time Hierarchical review process was a success, selection of „trusted“ PC members by Region Chairs increased responsibility Good time management through the whole preparation process, starting with „hard“ deadline Number of „protesters“ was low (ca. 50)

Robots get closer to humans What was „bad“ Conference topics list was not detailed enough (used to assign papers to PC members) Very difficult to assign PC members their preferred fields (two selections with „would like to review“ and „am also able to review“ might be better than just one list) Type of communication between General Chair+Secretariat and Program Chair was ok but could be improved (if this is possible at all with two different locations). Lots of overhead and possible source of error through data transfer via excel sheets, a entire web solution with total access to the database could help.
