Reading to Write: Your Task Step 1: Use at least 3 quick notes to find evidence to support your claim. Step 2: Use this evidence to help you write a LONG claim paragraph that includes: – A claim about your character – At least 3 pieces of evidence – At least 3 explanations explaining WHY the evidence supports your claim. – A conclusion sentence or two. – have a strong argument where everything ties back to the claim – Tip: Don’t use “I” in your paragraph
