SELECTION IN LISTENING SELECTIVE EXPOSURE – DO WE EXPOSE OURSELVES TO WHAT WE DON’T WANT TO HEAR? SELECTIVE ATTENTION – TO WHAT DO WE “TUNE”? SELECTIVE PERCEPTION – WE HEAR WHAT WE WANT TO HEAR SELECTIVE RETENTION – WHAT DO WE CHOOSE TO RETAIN IN MEMORY?
