The First Snow By: Dannielle Smith

One day, Billy and his sister, Sara, talked about waiting for it to snow. They loved the snow! When the first snow would arrive, Billy and Sara would ask their parents one hundred times to go outside.

On the first snow, every year, they would go out to play. They got really excited!

Two weeks passed and the snow began to fall. They begged mom and dad to go out and play. They had so much to do.

Billy and Sara wanted to build snowman and igloo. They also had a good idea for snow angels.

So Billy and Sara got ready. They were jumping for joy. They put on layers of clothes, scarves, hats, gloves, boots and huge coats. They were ready to head out.

The first thing they did when they got outside, was to begin building their snowman. They had one of the greatest snowmen they had ever built.

Then, they started on the igloo. Billy wanted the biggest igloo, so that’s what they built.

As the day went on, Billy and Sara did so much. By the end of the day, they were so exhausted.

Finally, it was time to go in the house. When they went in, mom and dad had a nice warm cup of hot chocolate waiting for them. Yum! Yum!

It was nice and relaxing to sit by the fire and drink a cup of hot chocolate after a fun day like that. It was the best day ever.
