ILLINOIS DRIVER’S LICENSE Approved driver education programs consist of at least 30 successful classroom hours. Renewing Your license The state will notify you in writing about 90 days before your license expires therefore: The law requires you to notify the state within 10 days of an address change. Persons with clean driving records may be able to renew online or go to the Drivers Service facility only once every 8 years under the Safe Driver Renewal (must be between 22-74 with a SS number)

Illinois Driver’s License If you lose your license, you must go to the facility to obtain another and pay for it ($5). To correct your license, you must go to a Driver’s Services facility and pay for it ($5). 30 days for a name change 10 days for an address change
