Look after/care for every Alpha guest Pray for each one in your group Learn their names, make friends Dependence on Christ, not us. Remember: Spiritual maturity is a lifelong process. 1. Aim: Maturity in Christ

Alpha gives guests an opportunity to experience:  Prayer  Christian community  Bible Truth  The Holy Spirit  Dependence on Jesus, not you  Salvation : Be prepared 2. Method: Growth in Maturity

Be an Encourager: Validate, affirm them. Creation / The Fall / Redemption / Glorification Be a Listener: Talk about their interests. Listening tells people “what you say matters to me.” Be a Peacemaker: Don’t debate or criticize. What unites us is infinitely greater than what divides us. 2. Growth in Maturity
