Depth and Complexity- the signs that lead you to become a better scholar By: Robyn Arnold

When we go from one place to another, we use signs to help find our way.

What does this sign mean?

When we read, we also use signs to help us know where we need to go in our learning.These signs are called Depth and Complexity.

This is the sign for details. We use this sign to show evidence of clues, facts, features, and data ideas.

This is the sign for ethics. We use this sign to show evidence of points of view, different opinions, and judging.

Is it ethical or unethical for Bart Simpson to cheat off someone else’s paper?

This is the sign for big ideas. We use this sign to show evidence of the main idea, the author ’ s purpose, and the moral of a story.
