What do you know about Russia?

 Russia has the same color as the USA flag.  The capital of Russia is Moscow  The Continent of Russia is Europe and Asia  Russia population is 146 million  The Climate of Russia is cold winter, mild summer, and frigid in the Arctic  The Government of Russia is Federation  The current Leader of Russia is Vladimir Putin  Russia Language is Russian  Russia Currency is Ruble  Russia highest point is Mt. Elbrus  Part of Russia is made up deserts, tall mountain, rolling tree less, plains called steppers, and giant marshes  Russia area is 6,592,772 square miles (17,075,200 square kilometers  Russia Important Products are coal, gas, oil, chemicals, metals, fur, vehicles, aircraft, weapons, machinery, beef, grain, and beets.

Russian traditions  At one point they stopped celebrating Christmas  They only put up their Christmas trees on Christmas eve  There Santa is called Grandfather Frost.

Do they have a Santa Claus in Russia?

They travel to parties and deliver the presents to the kids in person. Sometimes they deliver the presents at night. Grandfather Frost is the Snow Maidens grandfather. Grandfather Frost wears red and the Snow Maiden wears blue. Sometimes Grandfather Frost wears blue.

What is a babushka?

 Babushka means grandmother in Russian.  The story of Babushka was probably created by an American poet or writer called Edith Matilda Thomas in  Babushka had the cleanest cabin.  She wear cleaning clothes when she is cleaning.  Her son died so she had a lot of toys in her cabinet.  She met a wise men on her way to see Jesus.  Babushka miss the birth of baby Jesus.  Babushka was very sad that she had miss baby Jesus.  Babushka is still looking for baby Jesus.  Babushka is a legend that has been told to the children.
