Presentation transcript:

New AGWA Functionality Parameterization look-up tables Batch parameterization Batch simulation Updated burn severity tool interface Hydrograph visualization Channel parameterization Localized precipitation inputs

Parameterization look-up tables Allows saving of multiple parameterizations – Useful for keeping track of parameterizations with multiple burn severity maps created over the course of an event – Quickly compare parameter values between parameterizations

Parameterization look-up tables

Batch parameterization Perform multiple parameterizations with different channel, land cover, soil, or burn severity options

Batch simulation Run multiple simulations with different parameterizations and precipitation inputs

More forgiving – Burn severity map may be a raster, file GDB feature class, personal GDB feature class, or shapefile feature class – Feature classes do not have to be dissolved on/by severity class – Allow for integer- or string-based burn severity field Updated burn severity tool

Hydrograph visualization View and compare hydrographs for different simulations within AGWA and ArcGIS Allows exporting of hydrographs to spreadsheet Allows viewing of hydrographs for any plane or channel element within the watershed

Hydrograph visualization

Channel parameterization Can modify roughness, hydraulic conductivity, and erosion pavement for any channel Can be modified watershed wide or by individual channel

Localized precipitation inputs Allows explicit definition of precipitation extent vs uniform application across the watershed
