3 Which do I join? Each union has negotiating rights for a specific group of staff, and staff would normally be advised to join the union that negotiates for them. Staff also have the right to choose to join one of the other unions who can also represent their interests, with some staff being members of more than one. However the most important thing is that you do join a union.
