Download and run oneway.sps

Results of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) from oneway.sps ANOVA DEP Sum of Squares Degrees of Freedom (df) Mean Square Results (F) Significant level Between Groups Within Groups Total

Next Slide is the Actual Output from SPSS

Practicing “Point” and “Click”  Go to Untitled2  Choose Analyze>Descriptive Statistics>Frequencies  Choose variable DEP and perform the analysis  Choose another statistics, e.g. Correlate and find the correlation between the two variables

Creating and Running a Short SPSS Program  Close all SPSS’ Windows  Open SPSS and enter the following data in Untitled1  2 3  3 3  4 5  Obtain the Frequencies for the above data by  Analyze> Descriptive Statistics>Frequencies

Exercise: Creating Crosstab  Close all the SPSS Windows  Open SPSS and create a 3 by 6 matrix (3 rows and 6 columns)  Find Crosstabs under analyze and obtain the Crosstab
