Binomial Probability A Binomial Probability experiment has the following features.  There is a fixed number of repeated trials.  Each trial has two possible outcomes: success and failure. If p is the initial probability of success, then q is the initial probability of failure, where q = 1 – p.  The initial probability of a success is the same for each trial. The outcome of each trial has no effect on the outcome of any other trials. Suppose the probability of rain in a given 7-day period is. What is the probability that it will rain exactly 3 times in the next 7 days? General Formula number of trials number of successes in n trials initial probability of success initial probability of failure Asi De Facil

Binomial Probability with Conditions Suppose the probability of rain in a given 7-day period is. a) What is the probability that it will rain at least 5 times in the next 7 days? 5 times6 times7 times b) What is the probability that it will rain at most 2 times in the next 7 days? 0 times1 time2 times
