After this study, you should be able to: 3. Practice obeying one Bible verse. What will I learn?

After this study, you should be able to: 4. Teach someone else to obey the verse. What will I learn?

Game: Simon Says What helps you win the game? Who do you need to listen to? Simon Says is a lot like reading the Bible. -God is like “Simon”. -The Bible is the “Simon says” directions. -We are the players.

Let’s read…2 Timothy 3: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (NLT)

Let’s Practice Read the scripture and make sure you understand it. Practice obeying it. Practice teaching someone to obey it. Mark it in your Bible so you can easily find it later.

Challenges/ Homework 1. Obey your parents even when you don't feel like it (angry, bored, tired). 2. Teach Colossians 3:20 to your brother. Remind him when he needs it. 3. Read your Bible every day.
