What are District-wide Educational Specifications (Ed Specs)? Definition The purpose of educational specifications is to define and communicate the district’s goals and requirements for what a given facility should be to accommodate their program. The Ed Specs are the standards that identify the type, size, number and principal features of all of the spaces that constitute a school.
What is Site Specific Programming? Definition The site specific programming process will test and adapt the District-wide Educational Specification to the specific goals, needs and requirements of a particular elementary school.
