Learning Objectives Evaluate the effectiveness of different forms of protest Explain the role of some of the early campaigners for civil rights in the US.

How effective were the early rights campaigners?  You will be researching the role played by the three individuals below.  For each consider the strengths and the weaknesses of their contributions.  Who do you think was most effective and why?
