Presentation transcript:

Before we begin you need to know something very important. Music notes are named after letters of the alphabet. However, instead of having 26 different notes, the musical alphabet only has 8: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G

Remember that the treble clef is also know as the “g clef” because the clef itself centers around the note line “g”. The G Line

Now that we know that this line is “g” lets letter the lines and spaces below it. The “G” line MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SKIP ANY LINES OR SPACES!!!

Now lets label the lines above the “g line”. But don’t forget that the musical alphabet only has 8 letters! The “G” line MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SKIP ANY LINES OR SPACES!!!

Good Job! Now lets move on to the Bass Clef

Remember that the bass clef is also called the “f” clef because it’s two dots are on either side of the “f” note line.

Now that we know where the “f” is, lets letter the lines and spaces below it. Remember the musical alphabet only has 8 letters! MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SKIP ANY LINES OR SPACES!!!

Now for the lines and spaces above the “f” line. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SKIP ANY LINES OR SPACES!!!

When trying to find specific notes using bass and treble clefs make sure you: Remember that the musical alphabet only has 8 letters! Don’t skip any lines or spaces!
