Education & Training Committee Report

Education and Training Committee Recommend AFPMB approves the use of the aircraft disinsection training product (slide set) developed by Air Force and Navy. This product should be pushed out to the Air Force and Navy loadmaster Career Fields. Training should be on an as necessary basis (mandated by the country Foreign Clearance Guide), and certificates of training should be valid for one year..

Equipment Committee Report

1) Recommend that the AFPMB Director write DLA Aviation to request replacement of the Starbar® Fly Terminator® Pro trap, NSN , once the existing DLA stock on hand of 10 boxes is exhausted, with the Farnam Starbar®Captivator® Fly trap, keeping the same NSN, due to the manufacturer's discontinuation of the Fly Terminator® product. 2) Recommend that the AFPMB Director write DLA Aviation to request cancellation of NSN for the Troy Biosciences, Inc. Final Flight® Fly Lure, part number 80529, once the existing DLA stock on hand of 38 boxes is exhausted, due to the manufacturer's discontinuation of the Final Flight® product. 3) Recommend that the AFPMB Director write DLA Aviation to request establishment of a new NSN for the Farnam Starbar® Fly Trap Attractant for use with the Captivator traps as a replacement for the discontinued Final Flight® product.

Equipment Committee (Cont’d) 4) Recommend that the AFPMB Director write DLA Aviation with copy to Army A12 to request cancellation of NSN for the London Fog ULV XKE gasoline engine powered model due to the manufacturer's discontinuation of the item, with the London Fog XKD sprayer, NSN as a replacement. 5) Recommend that the AFPMB Director write DLA Aviation to request cancellation of NSN for the RD, Inc. Terminator diesel ULV sprayer due to the manufacturer's discontinuation of the item.

Pesticides Committee Report

1) Recommend the AFPMB write DLA-Aviation to assign a new NSN for the Clark P/N "Cocobear Mosquito Larvicide Oil" in the 2.5 GL CO package size. EPA Reg No AI is 10.0% Mineral Oil. This Larvicide is replacing the obsolete P/N Agnique MMF cancelled NSN and help in filling a DoD pesticide capability gap. 2) Recommend the AFPMB write DLA-Aviation to delete discontinued Whitmire P/N "PT-515 Wasp Freeze EPA Reg No " and replace it with Whitmire P/N "PT Wasp Freeze II EPA Reg No " on NSN AI on replacement P/N is 0.1% Prallethrin

Quarantine Protection Committee Report

Quarantine 1) Recommend concurrence with the Education and Training Committee's recommendation to adopt the Aircraft Disinsection Training slide set for the USN and USAF Aircrews. 2) Recommend the AFPMB sign a letter (drafted by the committee) to USTRANSCOM to update the US Foreign Clearance Guide to comply with current Australian and New Zealand aircraft entry requirements.
