“There’s a Great Day Coming” The Sovereign Judgment of Jehovah

“Lord of Hosts” Two major divisions: Chap (Assyria) and Chap (Babylon) Lord of Armies – Jehovah is superior to all of the armies ot the earth. He is merciful to all who are penitent… He will indict and punish all nations for their sins.

Jehovah Sovereign Over All Nations – Isa Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. 17 Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.

The Rod of Mine Anger… 10:5 "Woe to the Assyrian, the rod of my anger, in whose hand is the club of my wrath! 6 I send him against a godless nation, I dispatch him against a people who anger me,… (Israel Punished) 37:36 – Judah spared, Assyria punished! 14:9-13 – Against the pride of Babylon Chap – Against surrounding nations

Hope in the Midst of Destruction - 40:1-31 The Powerful Destroyer is a Powerful Savior to those who Hide in Him! 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; 31 but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

There’s a Great Day Coming…
