Houston Astros Houston’s home team is the Astros. The most popular players are Craig Biggio, and Jeff Bagwell. There are 25 players on the team.
Enron Field’s Retractable Roof Enron Field has many new technical advancements, like it’s retractable roof. A team consisting of architects and planners at HOK Sport, civil engineers at Walter P. Moore and Associates, Inc. and Uni-Systems who all recommended early in the planning stage that the retractable roof would be appropriate for the Texas climate.
Enron Field is Houston's newest architectural jewel and the Astros are proud to call this innovative stadium "home." Located in downtown Houston at Union Station, Enron Field features a vintage, full-sized locomotive that runs along 800 feet of track on the left-field wall. About Enron Field Enron Field has been open for 2 years. It has many fun features; like when the Astros make a home run a train on the side of the building starts making train sounds and drives to the other side. Enron Field is great for a family outing and baseball is great entertainment!
