Today’s key messages: We’re open for business Local Government is our key partner The Regional Plan will not be business as usual We would like your feedback on the consultation process

The Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board Where did we come from? What is our business? How are we funded? Who sits on the AMLR Board?

What are the touch points with Local Government? NRM Plan and investments in NRM NRM Levy Stormwater and flood management Development Plans Coast and marine issues Weed control and remnant vegetation

What does the NRM Regional Plan have to do with Local Government? It’s a Plan for the Region, not just the AMLR Board It will define strategic outcomes for NRM in the region It will guide investments for the next ten years Partner projects will get priority A Local Government/NRM Partnership Project is being progressed through the LGA

How will local government get its say? The Partnership Project at the LGA State Conference ‘Cluster groups’ of councils will meet with us in May Community forums will follow in June Formal consultation on the draft plan will be in Oct/Nov

Cluster groups will focus on: Outcomes and targets What we will do, and what we won’t do Strategies around the five ‘touch points’ How we will work together
