HIGHLANDS KENYA BY CONOR BOLGER AND PRESTON KUPER

THE MASAI PEOPLE.The masai people are one of the most well know tribes in Africa..Masai women are treated like servants taking care of the family..Their diet is made up of raw meat, unclean milk and blood and water gathered from a borehole or stream.Women will not receive education till all of the boys are in school with supplies..Even then the women have to prepare everyone and do all chores until then the boys will start their 8 km mile walk to school.

ED COLINA FOUNDATION.The Ed Colina foundation has built five schools in Africa by raising money from fundraisers like the one we are hosting right now..Two of his schools have become independent and no longer require the foundation’s help.. He has helped 368 kids in Africa each kid receives a daily meal from the school..

WHY BUILD.We are going to build a school for $2500 so the Masai children can have a education.Ed Colina has shown his foundation works by building five school two have become independent..We can help build schools closer to the kids’ home eliminating the chances of getting lost or attacked..They will become independent once the Masai people start paying to keep it open.
