If you want to find out more CLICK HERE Odds and evens Blind mans buff Some of these games would not be played in our times because they are a bit rough. We still play some of the games that children use to play in the Tudor times.

Witchcraft In Tudor times there were some people that would make medicine from herbs and lots more. People who made medicines to make people better would be classed as a witch. People would come around and stick a long thorn in you and if you cried you weren’t a witch and if you didn’t cry you were a witch. When they found out that you were a witch they would have boiled you in red wine and killed you.

Fruit and vegetables could only be eaten when they were in season. First Course Brawn (boar meat) Roast Tongue Leg of Pork Roast Beef           Roast Venison (deer) Meat Pie Vegetables in season Bread Second Course          Roast Lamb Rabbit Tarts and Custard Food Facts  The Tudors could keep the animals they used for food alive, so meat was available all year round.  Fruit and vegetables could only be eaten when they were in season.  Potatoes were not introduced to the UK until Elizabeth's reign and then would only have been available to the rich Roast Pig

Clothes The Tudor children used to dress like adults from an early age. Most ordinary people wore clothes similar to those of the rich and fashionable people but they were made from cheap materials like wool or linen. This is what a girl would wear. This is what boys would wear.
