General Information continued  In 1999 the Canadian government created a homeland for Canada’s Inuit people called Nunavut.  Brazil’s culture is mainly Portuguese.  Christianity is the most practiced religion in the world.  The followers of Islam, the second most practiced religion in the world are called Muslims. They follow the teaching of the Quran.  The most commonly spoke language in Southwest Asia is Arabic.
