Environmental Scan IHE Security and Privacy Overview from John Moehrke John Moehrke is a Principal Engineer specializing in Standards Architecture in Interoperability, Security, and Privacy for GE Healthcare. Primarily involved in the international standards efforts related to GE’s healthcare businesses. I am a member of the “Privacy & Security Workgroup” of the new HIT Standards Committee, and co-chair of the HL7 Security workgroup. I am GE representative to ASTM, DICOM, HL7, NEMA/MITA, OASIS, ISO/TC 215, and IHE. I have been active in the Healthcare standardization since 1999, during which time authored various standards, profiles and white papers. 7
