Abstract Electronic version of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots One or two players control movements of robots using Nintendo WiiMote and Nunchuk Player punches and dodges translate into robot movements Hits are recorded and deplete a health bar Selectable battle music

Product Life Cycle Manufacturing Normal Use Disposal

Manufacturing PCB - formaldehyde, lead, etc contains toxins and carcinogens LCD - sodium hexafluoride and other chemicals - global warming and ozone depletion Packaging - wood extension to arena Future iterations - minimize size of PCB, make arena extension not out of wood

Normal Use Two power supplies - high power consumption Future iteration - use only one power supply

Disposal Electronic waste from PCB and LCD - recycled or reclaimed at special centers Batteries for WiiMotes - advertise using rechargeable batteries or recycling them Plastic arena and robots - use recyclable or biodegradable plastic, or advertise recycling it Wood - biodegradable Biggest issue - getting users to do something besides throw it in the trash
