Milestones (2)
Building Strong Library Associations | Library Associations in Society Objectives establish milestones but they also establish responsibilities and strategies for achieving goals. Using your performance measurement template, are you clear about who is responsible for these objectives? Notice that the responsibility for the first goal and the objectives to achieve it are different in this case, but not necessarily so. In the second goal, the responsibility for the goal and the first two objectives are the same, but different for the third objective. Responsibilities
Building Strong Library Associations | Library Associations in Society Development of a plan, a project or a proposal should include input from the governing board and from key beneficiaries of the proposal as well as key people in the association. To be successful, plans need ownership by key stakeholders. Build in accountability (Regularly review who's doing what and by when). Plans, projects or proposals should specify who is responsible for achieving each result, including goals and objectives. Responsible parties should regularly review the status of the plan or project and someone in authority should sign off on the plan. Ownership and Accountability
