T HE F INAL P ROJECT … Create a tutorial for a Photoshop project of your choice. You will complete the tutorial along with your choice project. Must be school appropriate You cannot copy an existing tutorial

T HE F INAL P ROJECT … Ideas for the project: -Digital Painting -Poster design -Desktop wallpaper -Animation -Photography touch-up -Text/Typography -Manipulation -Logo design -Magazine or book cover design
W HAT IS A TUTORIAL ? A set of instructions to do something. Usually includes visual component (video or images) W HY ARE THEY USEFUL ? Help people do things on their own. They can be referred to again and again.
H OW MANY STEPS DO YOU NEED ? A minimum of 12 steps S ETTING UP THE TUTORIAL ….
H OW DO YOU SET IT UP ? Use the tutorial template.docx on the graphic design website or set up a new word document.
H OW DO YOU TAKE A SCREEN SHOT ? Ctrl + Print Scrn on your keyboard. Ctrl + V to paste it to your document
H OW DO YOU CROP A PICTURE ? Double click picture in Microsoft Word, click on Crop in the tool bar (upper right). This will allow you to resize and crop your picture.
H OW DO YOU INSERT / FORMAT A PICTURE ? Click “Insert”, select the file of the image you want to insert. Ctrl + V will insert a Print screen image. Click a picture and select “format” to format that picture
W HEN IS THE FINAL DUE ? Wednesday, January 27 th by the end of the class!
H OW DO I SUBMIT THE ASSIGNMENT ? to Tutorial– save as a.pdf Project– save as a.png or.jpg
