Introduction/Explanation of Project Review Scope of Project Construction Plan, Impacted Areas, and Schedule Communication Plan Questions 2 Phase III WHARTON OPERATIONS

Introduction 3 WHARTON OPERATIONS

Explanation Why are we doing this project? o Continuation of the air handling equipment upgrade work within SHDH that has been completed over the last two summers. o Historically, SHDH has had multiple HVAC issues, a common theme is problems maintaining a comfortable temperature in the building. o This phase will complete the HVAC upgrade work for all SHDH; all systems will be more efficient and better serviceable with more accurate controls technology. 4 WHARTON OPERATIONS

Scope of Project 5 WHARTON OPERATIONS

Project Scope Phase 3 (July 2015 – December 2015) o Work will be considered moderate in all spaces and will be more intensive in specific areas. o All work will occur in the evenings, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am. o The project will need access to a majority of rooms on the perimeter of the building within the hammerhead suites. 6 WHARTON OPERATIONS

New Thermostat Work 7 Scope: Installation of a new digital thermostat directly next to or below existing thermostat. Once new thermostat becomes operational, the old t-stat is to be removed and the applicable wall is to be patched and painted. Prep work None Impact: Minimal Schedule: August – December WHARTON OPERATIONS

Above Ceiling Work 9 Scope: Installation of new equipment, piping and associated duct work. Preparation work: Remove all personal and breakable items from your desktops, windowsills and shelving and store in a safe location. Computer components can remain on desk surfaces. Remove all pictures from the walls. Remove all items from floor, so workers can set up ladders. Protection will be installed each night while project work is occurring. Impact: Occupants will have access to office each day, but at times there will be ceilings out of place or areas temporarily reconfigured. There may be a short period of time where temperatures will fluctuate while work is being completed. Schedule: August – December Contractor will need access for a max. 10 days depending on location.

Construction Work Plan (cont.) When temporary temperature fluctuations occur where duct work is currently taking place, please plan to have additional clothing layers available in case it is needed. This was previously noted and it can be a three day process. There will be a touch-up process for all areas when the project is completed. There will also be a building air and water system balancing effort performed when the project construction is completing; these steps are planned to happen early December. 12 WHARTON OPERATIONS
