3,2 The middle layer of Earth. The crust sits on it. What is the mantle?

3,3 What is metamorphic rock? 1 Igneous, sedimentary, or other metamorphic rock that has been changed by heat and pressure.

3,4 An animal who became extinct long before there were any scientists to study them. What is a dinosaur?

4,1 It is a common mineral. It is almost as hard as diamond. What is quartz?

4,2 The center of the Earth. It is made of very hot iron. What is the core?

5,4 What is a cast? It forms when mud or minerals fill a mold. It has the exact shape of the animal that made the mold.
