Chapter 1: Democratic Security National Development Plan To a Communitary State Strategy: Strengthening Cultural Coexistence and Values to build nation and citizenship Coordination: Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Education with support of The Central Bank

Ministerio de Cultura República de Colombia The Plan´s fundamental objective is to promote, teach and encourage musical practice throughout the country. By accomplishing these goals, we will be able to strengthen musical schools as well as different collective expressions which will lead to the creation of new arenas of participation and coexistence. General objective

Ministerio de Cultura República de Colombia Promote the participation of children and young people through musical activities in each municipality (choirs or traditional popular music) Consolidate basic musical formation throughout the creation and/or strengthening of the music school processes in each municipality Strengthening the diversity of collective musical practices in major cities (orchestras,urban popular music, bands and choirs) Specific objectives

Musical Advisors: Design contents and materials, carry out seminars; accompany the process and evaluate.
