Analytic vs. Creative Brains  Analytic Brain: Logic Reason Math Reading Language Looks at things in parts  Creative Brain Creativity Imagery Dreams Emotions Symbols Looks at the whole

One or the other?  Most people feel they are stronger in one or the other….  Which are you stronger at?  What percent?

9-Smart  Psychologist Harold Gardner said there were 7 different kinds of intelligences  2 more were added recently to make 9 ways

What about your parents? 4. Identify a time where your smarts have helped you. 5. Identify a time when your difficulty in a “smarts” area challenged you.
