THE MAKING OF THE BALL DROPPER

Objective: The project must be stored in a.5x.5x.5x meter box and had to complete its course in 15 seconds. Materials: marble, electrical tubing, duct tape, fishing line, screws, wood supports, neon tubes, clamps, and cardboard Structure: The marble begins down two neon inclines then leads into the electrical tubing for a small loop and then into 3 large loops. The marble finishes and drops into a marble ball sack. INTRODUCTION

Conclusion and Equations The project turned out to be much harder then we initially thought. We had to redesign our roller coaster many times and had to try many different things to get it running for 15 seconds. But eventually we completed our task. m*g*h=.5*m*V^2-eloss f=m*a y-y1=(x-x1)tan(theta)- (G/(2*v^2))(1+(tan(theta))^2)(x-x1)^2
