Humak is a network UAS Humak has four regional units Programmes: Civic Activities and Youth Work, Cultural Management and Sign Language Interpreting 1550 students 510 new students annually of which about 290 young ones (community educator 210, cultural management 80) Students at New Research, Development Centres: , from 2016 n. 400 Degrees 280 per annum Personnel ~ 150, of which teaching staff 80 and project personnel~30. Also master level education, adult education and special education; open UAS and study path education

Community Educator’s Work Graduates are working in NGOs, local government, institutions and services: – Youth workers – Recreation/organisation instructors – Instructions of child protection units – Project managers and coordinators – Educators – Planners and service enterpreneurs 16

Community Educator at Work Annu Jantunen is 25 year old community educator who works as project worker in an sports organisation in The Northern Carelia. Earlier she has worked a producer in a health project in the city of Joensuu and as an assistant in various projects. Annu’s hobbies are coaching of young athletes and detectional youth work in social media 17
