Does a Republican form of government reflect the public’s will?

New class rule: total silence for 1 st 20 minutes of class – Direct: everyone votes – Indirect: Your rep. votes (ME) – Did I represent you?

Should Americans have the right to vote on critical/controversial issues? – Congress? – Judiciary?

Direct Democracy Devices Initiative – not in PA – Petition on ballot measures or proposals to enact new laws or state constitutional amendments – 24 states – Proposal on ballot – Ex: cannabis, healthcare, prayer
