Fact and opinions 1. The border police announced that they caught two men trying to smuggle two hundred bear paws into the country. (Fact) 2. They had a dog meat festival and more than one thousand dogs would be killed.(Fact) 3. Grace Gabriel, from International Fund for Animal Welfare, said she doesn’t agree with the dog meat festival 4. I think the country lacks of the law to keep bears and dogs safe from being hurt or killed. (opinion)

Where and I predict This story took place in China, south of Yulin, where the dog festival occurred but the smuggling of the bear paws occurred in Russia. This is important to know because people have a chance to stop this from happening. I predict that China will come up with a law that killing or hurting bears and dogs will not be allowed.

Question Why would anyone ever want to eat dog meat?

Answer Some people who have not tried dog might want to go south of Yulin to give it a try.
