Head Start Regions

Head Start Regional Oral Health Consultants 1) Provide oral health consultation/T/TA to Head Start Regional Office 2) Provide T/TA to state dental programs, dental/dental hygiene schools, licensure boards, and professional organizations, to increase/enhance access to care and preventive services for HS/EHS children. 3)Assist in identifying a cadre of dentists and dental hygienists as potential dental consultants to HS/EHS grantees.

Head Start Regional Oral Health Consultants 4)Provide T/TA to state/jurisdictional HS OH Forums, OHI Grantees and training sessions to various groups. 5)Provide assistance in identifying “models that work” in HS programs and disseminating information for replication. 6)Participate in efforts that promote, advocate and improve the oral of HS/EHS children and their families.
