Impressionism (印象派) 19th-century art movement Impression,Sunrise

Characteristics Characteristics of Impressionist paintings include relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on the accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities, ordinary subject matter, the inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience, and unusual visual angles. The emergence of Impressionism in the visual arts was soon followed by analogous movements in other media which became known as Impressionist music and Impressionist literature. Impressionism also describes art created in this style, but outside of the late 19th century time period.

Claude Monet (14 November 1840 – 5 December 1926 ) Early life Franco-Prussian War Later life

His first wife Camille Before he met his first wife,he is narcissism, he seldom painted other people, but it changed after.

Claude Monet Quotes Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment I am following Nature without being able to grasp her, I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers. My life has been nothing but a failure. No one is an artist unless he carries his picture in his head before painting it, and is sure of his method and composition. People discuss my art and pretend to understand as if it were necessary to understand, when it's simply necessary to love.

c'est tout,merci
