Workshop Roles and Responsibilities RoleResponsibility NIST Lead PV Chair. Runs breakouts, directs conversation, focuses on three key questions for every stakeholder category: What are the key issues for your stakeholder category? – For At Large candidates, this question is against the broader SGIP stakeholder community (all 22 stakeholder categories). How can the SGIP accelerate resolving these issues? Time permitting – In the coordination role of the SGIP, what issues do you anticipate and how can we mitigate them? EnerNex Lead PV Leader. Assists NIST Chair in moderate the discussion, especially to mitigate ‘spirited discussion’. Circulates and collects an SGIP voting member attendance sheet (paper: Name/Company/Organization Representing/ address). Scribe PV Moderator. Note-taker. Captures essence of each stakeholder category discussion. It is ok for the Scribe to participate on a limited basis or for key points, but not to Chair/Lead the session.  Uploads session notes to SharePoint after completion of session into PointView track and s to Vishant Shah.  File naming convention: StakeholderBreakout## Scribe Notes.doc Audience Stakeholder participant. After the stakeholder session, SGIP voting members should have a better understanding of the short and medium term goals for each specific stakeholder category. 3 PV=PointView

Ground Rules 1.NIST Chair and EnerNex Leader A.NIST Chair will lead the discussions for each session. B.EnerNex leaders will focus agenda, moderate discussions, and manage issues and conflicts. 2.Each session is an informal “fireside chat” focusing on the short and medium term goals of the stakeholder category. A.What are the key issues for your stakeholder category? – For At Large candidates, this question is against the broader SGIPstakeholder community (all 22 stakeholder categories). B.How can the SGIP accelerate resolving these issues? C.Time permitting – In the coordination role of the SGIP, what issues do you anticipate and how can we mitigate them? 3.Registered SGIP Voting Member Participation A.Comments and questions from registered SGIP voting members should take priority over other members attending the Grid-Interop event. B.Interaction between candidates for the SGIP Governing Board is encouraged, but Chair or Leader leadership should facilitate dialogue respecting the three questions (see above). Do not blurt out, but raise your hand for acknowledgement and the floor from the Chair or Leader. It is the responsibility of the Chair or Leader to recognize each person by stating their name and position. 5
