Topic Question How has reading this story influenced your thoughts about the things that are most valuable to you?

Make a surprising statement Just imagine being a celebrity without the fame. I could never imagine living the life of Sweet Lemon brown because he was a legend that nobody knew. This story has made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all cherished memories.

Provide a Description Imagine walking around for weeks not having bathed or even holding a sign begging for food. The stench of your breath is so bad that it causes you to be silent because of the shame that you feel when another person’s faces scrunches up. However, all of this is happening while you are a legend that made millions of fans happy. This is the life of Sweet Lemon Brown. However, after reading this story it made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all, cherished memories.

Ask A Question Is life easier to be famous without love and family, or is it better to have love and memories of family without the riches of the world? This is just one question that plagues Sweet Lemon Brown. However, after reading this story it made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all cherished memories.

Relate a funny story (anecdote) One time while riding with my grandfather, we saw a homeless man standing on the street corner holding a sign that read, “Hungry- will work for food.” I felt sorry for the homeless man and almost felt a tear come to my eye. My grandfather then looked over at me in the passenger seat and said, “Sweetheart, do not feel sorry for that man. He is making so much money standing on that corner. If twelve people stop him in one hour and each gives him a dollar. He just made twelve dollars in one hour, tax free!!!. Don’t you feel any ways sorry for that man.” I dried my eyes, but I still felt sorry for that man just as I feel sorry for Sweet Lemon Brown. However, after reading this story it made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all, cherished memories.

Address the Reader The next time you see someone who is less fortunate than you, do something nice for them. Sometimes, it is just nice to be nice. It never hurts to just sit and talk to someone or just simply say hello. In the story, all Greg did was simply talk and try to protect once famous, yet homeless, Sweet Lemon Brown. However, after reading this story it made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all, cherished memories.

Begin with a Controlling Idea There are so many statistics that give us better insight on the face of homelessness. There is a certain amount of homeless people that are not truly homeless, but suffer from mental illness and are not aware of their options for housing. There is another amount of homeless people that are prideful and refuse to take assistance or help from others because they do not want to feel as if that are beholding to someone. However, it really depends on what is valuable to the person. Some people value their home and possessions while others value their pride and struggle. However, after reading this story it made me see that fame, although great, cannot outweigh the value of love, family, and most of all cherished memories.
