Workpackage Infrastructure Tasks WP 3

What is the goal eventually To present the user an interface to: - find, - explore - select and - get presented grid data through a web browser.

Subtasks –Portal –Rules on data and metadata exchange –Interaction to the user -Business model

1. Portal (website and reports) - to store information about the EFGS (website) - acts as knowledge base for grid data manipulation (website) - to store information about how to find the data (report) - To store the data and metadata? (report)

2.. Data and Metadata information (Reports) - How to present metadata about combined statistical en geographical data (SDMX, ISO 19115, data format). - Access to reports on metadata and supported literature - Strategy how to expose metadata to potential users

3. Web statistical services (Reports) - Which Web processing services are available for grid datasets (descriptive statistics) - In which way may we download a selected dataset. - Availability of geographical selection and reporting tools (different languages).

4. Business model (Report) - Data avaiability for European Commission terms of use data for different memberstates.
