ABOUT NAFC One of six regional forestry commissions of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Established in 1958 Provides a policy and technical forum on forest issues for Canada, Mexico and the United States Has technical working groups Meets every two years—last meeting in October 2006 in Vancouver, Canada Chair of the Commission rotates among the three countries—US is the current Chair.
