What you can do to help: Encourage reading at home. This can be books, newspapers or news sites. Discuss what your child has read. Use revision guides and practice papers to practise skills. For this GCSE it is about practising skills over and over rather than learning any content. All the texts they’ll get in the exam will be unseen. Skills based, split up into Reading and Writing
