A member of a gorup of followers in India of the Iranian prophet Zoroaster Prophet Zoroaster-highly respected and worshipped by Zoroastrians. and-the-sacred-thread-are-two-items (video explaining Parsi religion) and-the-sacred-thread-are-two-items Translates to “Persians” Descended from Persian Zoroastrians who emigrated to India to avoid religious persecution by Muslims. Currently live in Bombay, Karachi, and Bangladore

Migration Exact date of migration is unknown Initially settled on the Persian Gulf Did not last long due to persecution…..went to India instead. Arrived in India somewhere between the 8 th and 10 th century
