Trade Ally & QA Process Update March 9, 2010 Trade Allies: experienced vendors & contracting companies have proven their qualifications requested to be listed on the website Quality Assurance (QA) process: for experienced RE contracting companies allows expedited inspections random inspection process (less than 100%) Trade Ally listing and the QA process are inter-related.
Trade Ally Update March 9, categories on the website; over 40 PV installaters Requires completing a Trade Ally Agreement Form PV installer listing requires successfully completing three consecutive PV projects: Application must list the project reference numbers Projects must have passed both the REIP inspection and the State safety/code inspection Must maintain status as a QA eligible company Companies are Trade Allies; not individual employees REIP will complete an annual confirmation process of PV Trade Allies to keep the list up to date
QA Process Update March 9, 2010 Quality Assurance (QA) process began April 6, 2009 New installers are subject to 100% Quality Control (QC) inspections by REIP program To become QA eligible requires successfully completing three consecutive PV projects Projects must have passed both the REIP inspection and the State safety/code inspection Subsequent failed inspection reverts company back to 100% QC status Companies are QA eligible; not individual employees QA eligible installers must attend an annual half day QA Update Training to maintain status
