* Public libraries are libraries that are open to the community, town or city in that area.

* There are different types of public libraries. There are public libraries on wheels called book mobiles. There are also map libraries, branch libraries. Internet libraries are only on the internet. There are school libraries, Academic libraries, special libraries in universities, law offices and hospitals. There are National libraries.

* To access items from public libraries you need a library card. You can access movies, DVDs, books, eBooks, magazines, posters, how to do kits, games, iPads, kindles, nooks, baking pans, dictionaries and more. Some libraries use the Dewey Decimal system. Which was invented by Melvil Dewey.
