Is there a good war? It is 2016, you are choosing a Senator who will vote on resolutions to go to war. You are choosing a President who has the power to act as Commander-in-Chief. What should you know about war to choose someone who may determine whether your country goes to war?

Looking at Iraq Why did we get involved? – Were Americans in as isolationist as they were in the 1930s? – What were U.S. objectives? – What were the strategies?

Looking at World War II 1.How did World War I influence WWII? 2.How did the Treaty of Versailles contribute to the outbreak of WWII? 3.Was a military response the only choice to defeat fascism? 4.Was a declaration of war the only response to Pearl Harbor?
