All was well in the land of Snorkworld. The snorks swam around happily. It was the summer of 200 and the king snork sat in his throne. The king’s castle was a big mighty castle, looking much like a sand castle. The snorks built all their houses out of sand and seaweed for that is all they could find in their homes located in the great blue hole of Belize. Welcome

The king was a tall snork with a long gray beard. Many people worshiped including his fellow villagers, reef sharks, lawmakers and his wife the queen. The great god Sam Snork was also worshiped. The king was Sam Snork’s apprentice and when the king died he would become the new god. So everyone in all of Snorkworld listened to the king for he was the only one who could directly communicate to Sam Snork. The king liked to be the ruler and often sent people on crazy quests. But this one quest the king had for his bravest knight spy was to spy on this one snork family.

This one snork family was acting weird and was always disobeying his laws. The kids never went to school and the adults never worked. The king said that everyone should be welled educated, and they disobeyed that law. Therefore the king thought that it was necessary someone checked out this crazy behavior. King Snork summoned his trusty knight/spy into his room. He whispered to him and then finished with a shout, “Find out what this snork family is doing. I must know.” after saying that king snork headed to his layer to take a nap.

The knight (who will now be referred to as John) liked this snork family. He did not want the king to hurt them. He knew what the problem was with this family. He knew that they did not leave there house because of the curse that this one evil octopus put on their family 25 years ago. He said that if anyone in that family that he sees outside of their house will have a horrible death. And no one wanted to risk being seen my the evil octopus so they all stayed inside unless they had to go somewhere. John had helped this family get there own reef shark so they could mash up their own coral in the reef sharks jaws and make it into colorful oatmeal instead of walking to the market to get oatmeal. John did not want the king to hurt them so instead he went to the market to get chocolates to bring to them. Colorful oatmeal recipe

John did not see anyone at the market at all. He called out, “Hello, anyone home?” several times. He looked around the artist snorks left there canvases with there seaweed art everywhere. The food from the market had been scattered everywhere. “Where is everyone?” John wondered out loud. He looked around, but he couldn’t find anyone. “There with me,” a deep voice said. He looked around once again, but he could not find the owner of the deep voice. Suddenly he was thrown into a sack and carried away.

John suddenly woke up with a scream. He looked around but he could not make out anything in the dark. From somewhere else in the musty room someone turned on the flashlight. The flashlight helped John make out the faces of his fellow villagers. He whispered, “What is everyone doing here?” He received his reply from the fellow villager Pat Snork. “We have all been captured by the evil octopus.” John did not need to here anymore. He knew what the evil octopus wanted. He wanted the king’s castle, and with the king being his master he knew he had to help save the king from a horrible death. With the thought of the wonderful King that ment everything to everyone in his mind he thought of a plan to rescue the king. I captured you!!!

Later that night John was high in confidence as he marched out of the dungeon. He had made a plan with the fellow villagers and he was sure it would succeed. In about 13 minutes he would hear a scream which was his signal of victory. In about 5 minutes the scream came. It was a deep scream and he knew the villagers had succeeded in killing the giant octopus. He then heard the laughter of his fellow villagers as they returned into the dungeon. When everyone heard the good news they lifted John on there shoulders and marched out of the giant octopuses castle. Ahhhhhhhhhh… …

The villagers and John marched into the king’s castle. They told the king the wonderful news. The king was proud of his knight John, so were the villagers. Even the reef sharks who never agreed with the snorks said John was a true hero. The snorks knew they had to honor him some way. They agreed after much voting that John snork would replace their god Sam Snork for good. John would be honored and thought of daily until the end of the snorks! For without John Snorkworld would have been ruined faster then you could say snorkwatter. The villagers continued with their joyful walk down into the market.

John got his own castle filled with technology like the latest snork whips, drills, swords and trackers. He was so happy, for his seaweed and sandcastle home was beautiful. He filled his clay castle walls with empty canvases. He spent much of his time engraving his beliefs into clay walls with a shark tooth and drawing pictures with different corals and sea urchins. He always walked around with confidence knowing that he was number one and no one could be mean to him. Him and the king became best friends and ate colorful oatmeal often. The laws were altered for the better and snorkworld became a even better civilization than it ever was. The snorks were always in good hands and everyone lived happily ever after. Welcome
