Communism in E/SE Asia Mao takes over Korea splits into North and South Korea Vietnam splits Communism affected the people in E/SE Asia because it gave the government more control and power, gave the people less rights and freedoms, and left the economy at a stop point where it would not expand much but was pretty secure at the place it was at. Conclusion-E/SE Asia Summit Problems Economic- 1.Overpopulation- Too many people results in a high population density which leads to crime, pollution, and lack of jobs. 2.Graying population- Too many elderly people which results in small workforce and lower reproduction rate. Political- 1.Communism- In this form of government the government has all the power, thus taking rights and freedoms away from the people. 2.Isolation- Allowed culture to grow without effect from the outside world, resulting in late industrialization.
