WHAT IS PBIS?? PBIS is a program where we teach the whole school about good behaviors, practice them, and then reward you when we see you doing them!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

PBIS RULES MATRIX Classrooms Bathrooms Cafeteria Hallways Recess Bus   Classrooms Bathrooms Cafeteria Hallways Recess Bus Be Respectful Follow your social contract. Respect the privacy of others. Get in and out quickly. Keep bathrooms clean. Use kind words. Use good manners. Speak quietly. Walk quietly on the 2nd square. Follow all directions. Be Responsible Flush the toilet. Use 1 squirt of soap and 1 paper towel. Clean up after yourself. Wait in line patiently. Go directly to your destination. Use equipment properly. Be Safe Wash your hands. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. Stay with your class. Stay in your recess area. Remain seated.

GOLDEN SPOON AWARD Awarded once a month to 1 class in each grade Winning class will have their picture taken and posted in their classrooms and on the school’s website. Teachers and staff will be for classes that follow Cafeteria rules. The line leader of the winning classes will carry the golden spoon and place it in the holder on the table so other classes can see it.

SUPER TITAN PROGRAM Homeroom teachers select two students every month that show the character trait of the month. These students receive special recognition over the intercom during morning announcements. The selected students are given a cape to wear during the school day.

TEAM TITAN PROGRAM For students who end the school day on PINK, their names are put on a team titan ticket and put in the team titan box for drawing every two weeks. The principal draws names every two weeks. For the students’ names that are drawn, they get to eat

“MYSTERY BUS” Every morning, 1-2 buses will be randomly selected for an opportunity for students to receive a stamp for a CLIP UP for great behavior on the bus. Students on the selected buses will be rewarded with a clip up in the mornings ONLY if they have followed the bus rules that are outlined on the PBIS Rules Matrix.
